http://www.mytewfamily.blogspot.com/ tagged me!
1. I always notice patterns, even when they really aren't there. Like when I count out change to a consumer at work I will notice that they got 2 quarters, 2 dimes, and 2 pennies (.72 cents). I also notice patterns in bathroom tiles.
2. I sort colored candies, like M&M's into separate colored piles. Then I eat one color at a time, usually leaving yellow and orange for the last. I always eat red and brown first.
3. My book shelf is sorted by author, by date by series. However they are not sorted alphabetically but only because if I did that then an author would be on 2 separate shelves and I couldn't have that. Instead I have my favorite author and then kind of alphabetized. This is quite hard to do, I have over 250 books!
4. I can not watch a movie or TV show if I missed the beginning! I can't stand not knowing what's going on. If Josh won't change the channel I just read a book while he watches it.
5. When I drink a soda from a can I always kink the tab. I don't like it bumping into my nose. I picked this up from a friend of my aunt years ago.
6. I will almost always participate in a fundraiser. The younger they are the better chance they have. I think it is cute how they go door to door to raise money.
7. I like to squeeze a lime & lemon over my salad and I hate salad dressing. The lemon & lime is actually a new thing for me. When we went to one restaurant and I told them no dressing they offered me a lime & lemon and I loved it so now I request it.
Josh's turn (well okay, I did it for him!)
1. He can spot wildlife a mile away or at least a field away. He'll be sitting at the computer doing homework and next thing I know he is running outside with his gun to shoot a coyote or crow or something like that. It's like a 6th sense to him.
2. He takes the glider rocking chair to the computer when he does homework. Some of the videos he has to watch are 2 hours long and he doesn't like the hard chair. I guess I don't blame him.
3. His favorite Olympic sport to watch is gymnastics. He is also a big Utah Gymnasts fan.
4. He cleans guns for his family. He likes to do it and doesn't think they do it often enough. We'll go over for dinner and leave with his dad's or brother's gun because Josh thinks it needs cleaned. He also sights his brothers gun in for him.
5. He read the Twilight books before I did. I had bought the first one, but I was in the middle of a different series so I didn't start it. A few days later I came home to find him 150 pages into it and he wouldn't put it down. Then when he finished he wouldn't let me rest until I had read them so that we could talk about them. He also plans to see the movie the first night it is out. (I am excited because he's calling it a "date night."). We've only read the first 2 books. I am buying them as they come out in paperback.
6. When we eat out he has to sit where he can see the doorway. It's a safety thing he picked up from the Police Academy.
7. Did you know Josh went through the Police Academy? He really liked the training, but halfway through he realized he would hate working as a cop. But it is the best money we've ever spent. It made him more confident and assertive.
