Each afternoon, we went to La Jolla Shores Beach. It was not overly crowded and GORGEOUS!
You can see just how red I got the first day. I know I looked funny, but I didn't care. The first day, we had just walked on the edge of the beach, but the second day I wore my swimsuit so I could go out further.
Some birds came by our towels while were were away to see if we had dropped any food.
The beach was definitely my favorite part of the whole trip. I love the mountains, but turns out, I love the ocean just as much. It was a crazy weekend, but I was surprised at how much fun we packed into 2 days.

Y'know, I adore my dh, but a girls' weekend can be SO MUCH FUN!! :) Great photos -- glad you had such a good time! :)
How fabulous! Beautiful sunset photos. Ouch though - that sunburn looks painful. Next time 30+ SPF!
