Tyler's Construction Cake Birthday Cake

Ever since his birthday last year, Tyler has talked about his cake with dirt. When we asked him what kind of cake he wanted this year, he wanted another one with dirt, but this time with a crane, like his dad drives.

I thought it would be fun to do it a little different from last year, so that it wouldn't be the same cake. It was kind of hard to find a crane toy, but I finally found a toy set that came with one.

I also found these cute construction candles. They came in a pack of 4. I needed five for Tyler, but Vanessa also asked for the same kind of cake for Daxsen, who is turning 3. So two 4 packs were perfect! I set 3 candles aside for Daxsen and then used the extra one to make 5 for Tyler.
