My new bathroom :)

I am so in LOVE with my new bathroom stuff. For years it was decorated in frog stuff. But when we redid our bedroom, I wanted to redo the bathroom so it would match. I searched for a LONG time to find the perfect thing. I found one shower curtain I liked, but they wanted $80 for just the curtain! So I kept looking.

A few months ago I found this shower curtain and fell in love. We had just started our Christmas shopping and I didn't have any ideas for Josh to get me so I told him I wanted new bathroom stuff for Christmas. When I first found it they only had the shower curtain and matching rugs. So I picked out color matching towels and such, but then I also checked back every few weeks. Luckily Josh drug his feet on getting his shopping done, because the first week of December they added matching towels and accessories!

Calendars & Cards

In November Janel had a Close to My Heart Craft day. It ended up being the same day as our family pictures so I wasn't able to finish that day. A few weeks later she had a make up day at her house. I was able to get almost done that day, then I finished the last few things at home a few weeks ago.

She had several crafts to choose from; I chose the 50 cards & the card box and the perpetual calendars. I made 5 calendars so I could give them away as Christmas presents.

My card box. Of course I choose the Sarsaparilla paper. I love its cowboy theme. I use it all most of my projects. :)

We made 50 cards total, 5 of 10 different designs. They are so much fun to make. I want to try and make a few cards each month next year.

I love how the calendars turned out. I flipped back and forth about giving them all away, but in the end they were so much fun to make that I decided I better keep one for myself.

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning started with Josh cooking up crepes for breakfast. First thing in the morning I was NOT allowed in the kitchen. It was because he was making hot chocolate with my new hot cocoa machine. I have pretty much begged for this machine and he made me think he wasn't going to get it until my birthday.

While we were opening presents, I thought I saw the paper on the floor move. So I stuck my camera on the floor and took a picture, this is what it took.

Josh opening his presents.
His hat doesn't fit. :( Since shaving his head his hat size has changed.
My big gift to him this year was going to be a horse trailer. I started looking in October. I talked to Dallon and he helped me. Unfortunately, the few we looked out weren't as good as they looked online. So I just gave Josh and IOU and told him to find his own horse trailer. He was so EXCITED!
 Josh's gifts from me:
Wildlife calendar
Goose Hunter
Duck Hunter
Cowboy hat
Reloading book
Horse trailer

My hot cocoa machine!!!!!
 Opening my first present.
 My new bathroom stuff!
I have been looking for new bathroom decor since redoing our bedroom this summer. It is all so pretty!
 Josh got me:
Hot cocoa machine
Shower curtain
Shower hooks
4 bathroom towels
2 bathroom rugs
Waste basket
Toothbrush holder
Cup

And I bought the Mario game for myself.

This was one of the best Christmas's ever. A lot of years we have been broke and haven't been able to spend a lot. But with Josh's new job and by doing our shopping so much earlier this year, we were able to go all out for each other.

Christmas with Josh's family

I love Christmas with Josh's family. We eat lunch first and then after cleaning up we open gifts. It seems to make the fun last longer.

For Dallon and Colter we got them wildlife calendars and pillow ties. The tie has a small air bladder in it that you can blow up and use as a pillow.
I always have so much fun shopping for my nephews. I got their presents in October and I had such a hard time not giving the shirts to them earlier. I had to remind myself the point of buying stuff in October was so I wouldn't have to stress in December.

For Preston:
 For Tyler:

We had a hard time coming up with an idea for Matt. A week before Christmas I mentioned a friend got her parents a customized calendar and how cute I thought it would be. So we decided to get one for Matt (he LOVES puzzles). I didn't think it would be here in time, but it came in the mail 2 days before Christmas!
This year my big craft was perpetual calendars for both our moms and sisters. They turned out so cute. I made one for myself also so I'll post more pictures of it later. I topped my homemade calendar off with some more notebooks.

Josh's family gave us AWESOME presents this year.
Dallon gave Josh floor mats for his truck and he gave me moose hot chocolate cups and hot chocolate mix.
Melanie and her family gave Josh a gift card to Sportsman's Warehouse and me a gift card to Inspirations.
Josh got a new Leatherman from his parents and they gave me Ninja machine so I can start making smoothies with my Bountiful Basket stuff. His parents also gave us new socks and some money so we can have a nice night out.
