It bothers me that he loves her more then he loves me

I've never had a cat that loved someone more then they love me. It bothers me that Buddy loves Ally more then me. I think its because she still lets him nurse. That's about the only time he purrs. Sometimes he will purr  for me if I let him chew on my hand for 10 minutes first.
